The Port of Galilee is an authentic, working fishing village found on the south end of the town of Narragansett. There are only a handful of houses in the actual hamlet, although the neighboring community of Point Judith has a larger residential population.

South County has plenty of places where you can rent a boat, allowing you to enjoy a weekend on the ponds or ocean without having to invest in a watercraft. The rates are reasonable, as well, at least compared to what you might pay in a larger center.
